Flannery's Last Peacock

TWU students, faculty, and staff and Denton community members enjoyed an entertaining discussion led by award winning author Jane Roberts Wood who shared excerpts from her latest short story, Flannery's Last Peacock.

The event, sponsored by the Department of English, Speech, and Foreign Languages and the Friends of the TWU Libraries was held March 30, 2010, in the TWU Blagg-Huey Library Joyce Thompson Lecture Hall.

Jane Roberts Wood is a recipient of the Texas Institute of Letters Award and is the author of a number of books including the classic Texas trilogy "The Train to Estelline," "A Place Called Sweet Shrub", "Mocha, the Read Doctor" and "Dance a Little Longer."
