Our own Shelly Burns, Librarian at the TWU Presbyterian campus, has been selected as the inaugural recipient of the Elizabeth Snapp Award for Excellence in Librarianship. Shelly was selected from a pool of nominees from the Houston, Dallas and Denton campuses of Texas Woman's University.
Praised as "a golden asset to Texas Woman’s University“ and one who “models professional excellence", Shelly has been with TWU for three and a half years and currently serves as the TWU Subject Librarian for Health Care Administration, Health Studies, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy.Way to go, Shelly!
