Visit the
Blagg-Huey Library and check out a book from the Browsing Collection on the first floor. What is the Browsing Collection, you ask? It consists of "recreational reading" books from many popular genres--including mysteries, romance novels, sci-fi and many others.
Much of the collection has been donated by faculty, staff, students and the community. If you are interested in donating a book (in good condition) to the Browsing Collection, you can drop off your donation at the Circulation Desk (located across from the Information Desk and Reference area on the library's first floor).
The books in the Browsing Collection are available for a 2-week checkout period and can be renewed. New books are added to the Browsing Collection on a daily basis, so be sure to come and take a look!
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (above left) by Steig Larsson. Soon to be a major motion picture (U.S. release).
The Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood books (also known as The Southern Vampire Series) by Charlaine Harris.

Wicked by Gregory Maguire.

A great classic pick from the collection is Peyton Place by Grace Metalious.
