We were all disappointed to hear that the sold-out and much-anticipated speaking engagement of renowned author Dr. Maya Angelou on the Denton campus of TWU has been cancelled until further notice. Dr. Angelou was forced to cancel her appearance for health reasons, and we wish her a speedy recovery.
For the many fans of the author and her work, Reference Librarian Jimmie Lyn Harris has put together an extensive bibliography of works by and about Dr. Angelou, all part of the Blagg-Huey Library's collections. Due to popular demand, Jimmie Lyn and Reference Librarian Stephany Compton have also compiled a list of electronic resources on Dr. Angelou's life and accomplishments.
