The Blagg-Huey Library's new Library Information Kiosk has arrived! The kiosk is a large touchscreen monitor located on the far right end of the Circulation Desk (near the book drop) on the first floor of the library.
At this station patrons can search TWUniversal; create a study room account and make study room reservations; view maps of the library; review library FAQs; and learn how to get further assistance.
Circulation staff is always nearby for assistance. Be sure to complete a survey on your kiosk experience--your input is valuable.
Kudos to library staff members Andrew Farris (who created the kiosk screen software); Angela Foster (who designed the icons); and Erik Martin, Brandy Klug and Greg Hardin (who consulted on the kiosk project). Library Assistant Lauren Herring came up with the idea of an information kiosk and coordinated the many parts of the project.
Please feel free to send comments or suggestions relating to the kiosk directly to Lauren at lherring@twu.edu. All feedback is appreciated.
